GAH! This thing is super cute and just fantastic, I'm so happy I purchased it. My kitten doesn't use it as a scratcher, he started using it as a bed right away so now it's full of soft blankets. He was interested in this as soon as I started putting it together.
It's very sturdy, very strong material for cardboard. My kitten has chewed around the opening early on and it didn't break away. It doesn't come with instructions so my hot tip is ensemble the bottom first, the top doesn't fold right until the bottom is done so it may bend and dent the cardboard in the wrong way if you tackle the top folds first (like it did for me lol). Also it comes with a packet of loose catnip, DON'T USE IT, the scratch square you place inside the carton is like honeycomb and even when folded correctly there are gaps so your floor will end up looking like you spilled a packet of parsley everywhere EVERYWHERE!!! so do yourself a favor and just skip the step of sprinkling the catnip in the bottom (or tape up the bottom of the carton up first to close any gaps.)
The 'premium beef' logo on the strawberry milk graphic is a little odd but that's on all the colours and not a big deal, just an odd graphic. It's the cheapest cat bed I ever purchased him and it looks great. I'm going to buy the other two colours just so I have a little bed option in different sections of the house, for the price these are fantastic! At the time of writing this Petso is also the best place to buy these cat milk cartons because of the price. I can not believe other sites are trying to sell these upwards of $40, I saw a similar one for almost $80! that's crazy because it's just a fancy cardboard box after all, so I'm very thankful Petso sells them at this great price.
If it ever gets damaged, though I doubt it because he leaves it alone now, I'll buy another, worth it.
(one of the pics is of kitten sitting inside it as soon as I finished putting it together, it's how fast he liked it)
