recently bought for my 6 year old cat whom i didnt think would be able to use due to her size but it surprisingly is pretty sturdy. it does wobble the slightest bit when she jumps onto the top, but she is a bigger cat so no surprise there. it's still fine to use for bigger cats like mine, u could even add some extra support, but i do feel it would definitely be perfect for kittens/young cats!
