At Petso, we aim to provide reliable and transparent delivery services across Australia. Please review the information below to understand our delivery options, shipping coverage, fees, and postcode-based area definitions.

Delivery Options

Pick Up In Store

If you live close to one of our warehouses, you may choose to pick up your order in person. This option is free of charge.

Melbourne Warehouse (Pick Up Only)

Local Delivery (Petso Priority)

Local Delivery (Petso Priority) is available for eligible orders over $99, subject to delivery address proximity to our warehouse and local stock availability.

When the delivery address is located within our service radius and the ordered items are available at the corresponding local warehouse, we will arrange delivery via our internal delivery service (Petso Priority).

  • 🚚 Delivery is usually arranged within 48 business hours
  • 📦 Orders must be fulfilled from the same local warehouse
  • 🔄 Orders may be shipped via third-party courier if local stock is unavailable
  • 🕒 Delivery times may be affected by public holidays or operational constraints
  • 📞 Includes enhanced communication and free redelivery if required
Note: Petso Priority is not a guaranteed service and availability is assessed on a per-order basis.

Standard Delivery

We offer standard delivery across most areas. Delivery times typically range from 2–5 business days, depending on your location and courier.

To help avoid common courier issues, we recommend selecting Authority to Leave (ATL) at checkout.

While we dispatch orders promptly, final delivery times are managed by the courier. Customers are encouraged to track parcels and contact the courier directly for updates.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

By selecting ATL, you acknowledge that once the parcel is left at your address, Petso is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.

If issues arise after an ATL delivery, we are happy to assist in following up with the courier.

Express Post

If Express Post is selected, your order will be dispatched via the courier’s express service. Delivery times may vary depending on the courier’s network. Once shipped, please refer to the courier’s tracking service for real-time updates.

Shipping Coverage

NSW / VIC / ACT

We deliver to all areas, including metro, regional and rural locations.

QLD & SA

We deliver to capital cities and major metropolitan areas only.

WA & TAS

We deliver to Perth, Outer Perth, and regional areas of Tasmania.
Remote areas in WA and TAS are charged according to Australia Post shipping rates.

NSW / VIC / ACT

  • Orders $69 and over: ✅ Free shipping
  • Orders under $69: ➕ $10 shipping fee

QLD & SA (Remote Areas) / WA (Perth & Outer Perth) / TAS (Regional Tasmania)

Orders over $199

  • Under 10kg: ✅ Free shipping
  • Over 10kg: ➕ $80 shipping fee

Orders under $199

  • Under 10kg: ➕ $20 shipping fee
  • Over 10kg: ➕ $80 shipping fee

WA & TAS & NT – Remote Areas

  • 📦 Shipping is charged according to the Australia Post shipping rate.
  • 💰 Final fees are based on parcel weight, size, and delivery postcode.
  • 🔔 Additional charges may be requested after checkout if applicable.

The shipping carrier is selected based on delivery location, parcel size, weight, and service availability.

Area Definitions (Postcode Reference)

Delivery areas are classified based on Australian postcodes. Shipping eligibility and fees are determined by the delivery postcode and aligned with carrier service zones.

Important: Capital / Metro areas generally qualify for standard shipping rates. Remote or country areas may incur additional shipping fees.
WA & TAS remote areas are charged according to Australia Post shipping rates.
